How do I get started?
  • Choose a class that works for you and reserve your space online and take advantage of our Buy One Get One Free class offer.
  • Arrive about 10-15 minutes early to sign a waiver form and tell us about your goals.
  • Once you sign your waiver, our Experience Experts and DEFINE Dubai instructors will help you set up for class.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, a pair of socks and bottled water if you’d like. We provide the mats and equipment, as well as combination lockers for your convenience. Socks are available for purchase and spin shoes are available to use for free. Fresh filtered water and cups are available and you can purchase bottled water.
What do I wear?
Yoga pants, cropped pants, tanks, and shirts are acceptable for all classes. If you feel good moving, stretching and bending in it, wear it. Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing with the appropriate coverage throughout the class. We know you will be working hard, but please keep your tops (shirts or tanks) on throughout the class. Workout clothes out of date? Don’t let that stop you. DEFINE provides an entire retail line of workout clothes for purchase in the studio.
If I’m a beginner or haven’t worked out in a long time, what class should I start with?
You can start with whichever class best fits your schedule. Each instructor makes modifications and variations for all fitness levels, so each class includes the same amount of instruction and hands on assistance as the next. We’ll work with you as you listen to your body and work as hard as you can. Even if you’re doing 10% of an exercise, as long as it’s to 100% of your ability, you’ll receive 100% of the benefit and results.
Where can I park?
Parking can be tight at the Silverene Valet in our building, and often spaces outside on Al Yahoom Street can be difficult to secure. We recommend parking at the Marina Mall (free of charge) and walking the 3 minute-walk to our studio, since there is more availability. Parking at the mall also makes it convenient to grab a coffee with a friend or to get your grocery shopping done at the Marina Mall after class! Before 7am, make sure to leave early enough to find parking at Silverene valet or street parking.
What is DEFINE’s Late Cancel and No Show Policy?
We know that life happens, and unexpected circumstances may come up! If you are not able to come to class, please call us within 2 hours of the class starting to let us know your plans have changed. 
If a reservation is not cancelled before these 2 hours by either canceling yourself out of the class or notifying us through a phone call, you will be charged for that class or event. We do not accept cancellation requests through email.

If you have a class package, you will be charged 1 class for each class to which you “late cancel” or no-show. If you have an unlimited package, and you late cancel/no-show multiple times without notifying us, you will receive a warning. You will be charged a late cancel/and or no show fee of 30 AED after your warning (made via phone call or email).

What do I do if I am running late?
Please call if you are running a few minutes late and we can reserve a spot for you depending on the class capacity. Clients will not be admitted to class if later than 15 minutes in our body, mind, or yoga classes, and not permitted to enter our revolution classes once started and doors are closed.
Can I take DEFINE classes if I am pregnant?
Yes! However, it is recommended that you begin classes early in your pregnancy and you consult with your doctor before you begin any exercise program. Also, please tell your instructor if you are pregnant as we have several modifications that we do for each stage of pregnancy. As with all of our classes, we encourage each student to take it at their own pace.
How many calories are burned during a DEFINE rev class?
Depending on your body weight and amount of exertion used, you can burn about 450-800 calories, on average, in a DEFINE rev class.
